Dean Tyler K is a writer, performer, and producer from Long Island, NY. Representing the Roger Rees Awards at the 2017 Jimmy Awards was just the beginning, as he went on to get his Bachelor’s degree from Rider University in Musical Theatre and Popular Music Performance. He has been writing and releasing pop music for years, including a full length, self-produced pop album, “Juxtaposition” on all streaming platforms. He wrote the music, book and lyrics for Alone, a new musical which sold out 54 Below in 2022. He has also performed his original music at iconic venues such as The Green Room 42, Don’t Tell Mama, & Chelsea Table + Stage. He is the owner of Lines in the Sky, a production company which aims to give new writers a platform to promote originality. Recently, Dean appeared in Dear Mom, I’m Gay! Off-Broadway and will be presenting his original one-man play, Welcome to Chaos as part of the NY Theater Festival WinterFest. He was raised on classic rock but has a deep love of music across all genres.
