Musical Monday with Jack Lipson and Special Guest Nicholas Connell (Titanique!)

How it works:
Multi-musical-hyphenate Jack Lipson “bounds toward what’s next in the world of sound.” The Los Angeles native has piano’ed and sung supporting Idina Menzel, Darren Criss, Josh Groban, Andrew Rannells and many more at venues from The Hollywood Bowl to Disney Hall. He co-writes music, lyrics, and -stars alongside his twin brother in Jack & Benny Lipson’s “sensational, clever, and astute” revues that have played NY (Birdland, Club Cumming, etc.), LA (Luckman Fine Arts, residency at Lyric Hyperion Theater, etc.), Chicago, San Diego, and San Francisco. Lipson has produced and arranged-orchestrated concerts for the LA Phil, albums by Pia Toscano and Bethany Joy Lenz, and recently composed the score and theme to zenroom starring Cheri Oteri. He participates in the BMI Lehmann Engel Musical Theater Workshop.
Nicholas James Connell is a singer/songwriter, music director, producer, and arranger with a B.M. in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. He is the co-creator & Music Supervisor if TITANIQUE Off-Broadway. Nicholas is the vocal producer & sings backup on Brian Justin Crum’s “Show Me Love” which reached #2 on the Billboard Dance Chart. Favorite MD credits: Brent Spiner’s In Search of Lost Time, For The Record: The Brat Pack, The Color Purple (2015 IRNE Award for Best Music Direction), In The Heights (2014 IRNE), Xanadu, Next To Normal (Speakeasy Stage). Nicholas can be seen playing piano on ENCORE! (Disney+) and on his Youtube Channel which has garnered 17,000 subscribers and over 11 million views.
